The payroll office is in the process of producing W-2 forms, and ensure accurate information on their forms, employees are encouraged to carefully review their information, such as legal names, W-2 mailing addresses, social security numbers, and withholding W-4 allowances. Please submit any changes to the payroll office by January 17, 2018.
For faster service of the 2017 tax forms, please sign up for electronic delivery of W-2 forms. Please visit Self-Serve, Employee, Tax Forms, Electronic W-2 Consent (link). This remains in effect each year so you only must sign up once. The W-2’s will be available by January 31, 2018.

All nine-month faculty members can opt in to be paid over a 12-month span, according to Shiromani Narayan, payroll. This process begins with September paychecks and holds a portion aside for nine months, then pays out over June, July, and August of the following summer. To sign up for this option you can download the form from the payroll website at

In the next few days, employees of UP who worked full-time during any month in calendar year 2016 will be receiving a form called Form 1095-C via U.S. mail. This is an IRS form that UP is required to send to employees. Employees who did not work full-time during any month in 2016 will not receive this form (for example, most adjunct faculty members).
Payroll will be processing paychecks on an accelerated pay schedules due to the Christmas holiday and the winter break. Please be informed of the following important dates, times, and instructions.

Monthly timesheets need to be submitted on Monday, July 25, by 3 p.m., according to Shiromani Narayan, payroll. Approvers have until Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. to approve timesheets.
