Digital Lab: Fall Workshops
Please Return Library Materials
The book drop is ready and waiting! As the beginning of fall semester nears, Clark Library asks that materials be returned so they can be used by others for their coursework. No fines were charged through spring and summer, but overdue books now need to be returned. If you still require a book, please renew online or contact Clark Library for assistance, library@up.edu or 503.943.7111.
If you are not returning to campus this fall, please contact library@up.edu for mailing instructions. If necessary, they can send you a prepaid mailing label; if you would like to request one, please include the address from which you will be shipping the materials and the weight of the package you will be sending.

“All Together” Project: Submit Your Creative Works
Easier Access to Clark Library Databases
Digital Lab: June Workshops
Share Your Experience: All Together
Call for creative works! How is our University community responding to these uncertain times? The Clark Library requests your images and stories, showing how your life and work have changed and continue to change during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your voices will be the record of this historic event. Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome to submit photographs, drawings, poetry, films, and more using this link.
Clark Library and Summer Session
The Clark Library has sent a welcome announcement to summer students about the Virtual Clark Library and our Remote Library Services. We are also introducing a new way for students and staff to suggest items for purchase. This complements a program designed in spring in which the library purchased print and eBooks based on Interlibrary Loan requests that could not be filled due to the pandemic. The print books were shipped directly to the requesters and will be added to our collection when they are returned later. Faculty should continue to send any purchase suggestions to their liaison librarian.
Clark Library: Summer Instruction Sessions and Course Reserves
Beginning to think about summer? The Clark Library can assist you by providing virtual library instruction for classes and by providing students with online access to readings through the course reserves system. To schedule a class meeting with a librarian, please email preferred dates and times to reference@up.edu. To arrange multimedia instruction through the Digital Lab, please email José Velazco at velazco@up.edu. For course readings, if you plan to reuse items that were previously on reserve, let us know and we can find that list in our archive. For new items, email a list of citations to library@up.edu. Please include the course name, course number and section(s), and instructor name(s). Questions? Email library@up.edu.
