Did You Know? All Welcome for Vespers, Chapel of Christ the Teacher

October 27, 2017

Did you know about Vespers, or Evening Prayer? All are welcome to join the local Holy Cross brothers and priests as they gather for Evening Prayer at 5:40 p.m. in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher, Monday through Wednesday as well as Fridays. Rooted in scripture, this daily offering is a way to give thanks for the day and ask for God’s continued blessing. If you are unsure of how to participate, feel free to come in, pick up a book, sit next to a priest or brother, and just ask for help.

This “Did you know” series comes to you as an initiative of the Garaventa Center and Campus Ministry, intended to broaden awareness of spiritual development opportunities on the University campus. Look for more in the weeks to come.
