New Museum Post: Upsilon Omega Pi Hearse
The latest post for the University Museum blog was written by Doug Edwards, class of 1967, and a member of Upsilon Omega Pi spirit fraternity. As he writes in his article, some of the Upsilon members were asking what happened to their Upsilon Omega Pi hearse, a well-known fixture on campus in the late 1950s and 1960s. Doug set out to find the answer and prepared a timeline of events with recollections from his fellow Upsilon brothers. With Doug’s permission, the University Archives and Museum posted his story of the Upsilon Hearse with photographs at http://tinyurl.com/lc5gbb6. Upsilon Omega Pi members and their families will be meeting at the 2014 all-alumni reunion for a social in the afternoon of Saturday, June 28.
