A Big Week for Pilot Tennis, Basketball

The Pilot tennis and basketball teams are heading into a big week, as women’s basketball kicks off the busy weekend with a game versus LMU on Thursday, February 28, at 7 p.m. Tennis continues with a doubleheader on Friday, with the women taking on Santa Clara at 10 a.m., and the men battling Pacific Northwest rival Eastern Washington at 2 p.m.

Saturday wraps up the schedule with men’s tennis playing Montana at 2 p.m. This will be the last basketball doubleheader of the season and we want to thank you for your support this season! One ticket gets you into both games, first the women take on Pepperdine at 4:30, then the men battle Santa Clara at 7. Halftime of the men’s game will be the fan-favorite Paper Airplane Toss, with the winner receiving a $500 travel card.

Basketball, Tennis, & Tacos, Oh My!

Pilot athletics will have a busy week, with the women’s basketball team starting off with a WCC battle vs. BYU on Thursday, February 14 at 7 p.m. This will be the annual Play 4 Kay PINK game, raising awareness for breast cancer survivors and the Kay Yao Cancer Fund. Next, men’s and women’s tennis continue the action, with the women playing on Friday, February 15, at 11 a.m., and Saturday at 9 a.m. Men’s tennis takes on Idaho on Saturday, February 16, at 2 p.m.

The Pilot basketball teams wrap up the busy weekend with a Saturday doubleheader, featuring the women vs. San Diego at 2 p.m., and men vs. San Francisco at 7 p.m., as part of Junior Parents Weekend and Brewfest.

Last but not least, all faculty, staff, and students (of legal age) can now receive happy hour pricing all day and every day at Cha Cha Cha Mexican taqueria on North Lombard. Just show University ID to take advantage of this offer.

Pilot Baseball, Tennis Action

March 4, 2013

The Pilots are set to take on OSU on Tuesday, March 5 at Joe Etzel Field at 2 p.m., and tickets are still available. Friday marks a three-game home series as they take on Seattle University at 2 p.m. Game two and three will be played on Saturday and Sunday, both at 1 p.m. For tickets call 7525.

The women’s tennis team is home this weekend for two matches at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center. The action starts on Friday as the Pilots take on Montana University at noon. Then on Saturday the Pilots take on Gonzaga starting at 11 a.m. Fans can enjoy tennis action for free so come out to the tennis center and cheer on the Pilots.
