Learning Lab: Steps To A Successful Career Change with Shari Dunn

Join the Pamplin School of Business on Wednesday, January 22, at 5 p.m., in Franz Hall room 426 for the first Learning Lab of the year. Shari Dunn (executive director of Dress of Success Oregon and UP adjunct instructor) will  lead you through her process of change. Learning Labs are free two-hour workshop sessions that deep dive into an area of leadership and management.

4th Annual Operations & Technology Symposium: October 24

October 10, 2019

The Pamplin School of Business is pleased to present its 4th annual Operations & Technology Symposium on Thursday, October 24, from 4-7 p.m., featuring keynote speaker Ben Berry, EVP & CIO of the Bonneville Power Administration. This annual event congregates thought-leaders in the operations and technology management field space to spotlight the latest trends, initiate dialogue, and network with fellow professionals. All attendees receive a digital badge; networking reception also included with hosted hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Free for staff, faculty, and students with code: uppamplin.

Women In Leadership Forum Guest Speaker: Stephanie Salomone, Sept. 10

The Women in Leadership Forum welcomes UP mathematics professor and STEM Center director Stephanie Salomon on Tuesday, September 10, at 6 p.m., in Franz Hall room 120. The Women in Leadership Forum connects students, faculty, and staff with dynamic women who are leaders in the Portland community. The Forum is a place for sharing stories, building connections, and supporting the development of women in leadership. Salomone will share her experiences as a woman leader in STEM and academia, as well as insights she’s gained around inclusion, equity, and mentorship.

An Evening with Portland’s Wine, Beer & Spirits Movers and Shakers

The Pamplin School of Business Education series presents “Wine, Beer & Spirits” on Wednesday, July 24, 4-6 p.m., at the Gallery at Cerulean. Join us to learn about the latest trends from experts including Kevin O’Brien ’04, senior vice president, Zepponi & Co.; Steve Waters ’10, CEO of Backwoods Brewing; Jessie Sheeran, brand manager of SakéOne; Ryan Magarian, co-founder of Aviation American Gin; and Tammy Miller, owner of Cerulean Winery.
