Call for Proposals: Research in the Application of Ethics (Due Mar. 31)
The Dundon-Berchtold Institute funds teams of faculty and students to conduct projects and curriculum fellowships focused on the application of ethics within and across academic and professional fields. In addition to fostering the vibrant learning experience of faculty-student partnerships, the Research in the Application of Ethics program encourages Faculty Fellows and Student Scholars to participate thoughtfully in these important conversations as they lean into the ethical tensions of the modern world. Nominate Students for the 2023 Gerhardt Award (Due Apr. 17)
The Office of Alumni & Parent Relations is accepting nominations for the 2023 Thomas A. Gerhardt Award for Student Leadership. Criteria for selection include:
- Student must be a graduating senior;
- Student must have demonstrated leadership throughout his or her undergraduate career;
- Student must demonstrate consistent dedication to the University and the community through service to God and neighbor.

Green Dot Facilitator Training (Aug 8.–11)
The Wellness Center and Campus Ministry have secured funding to revitalize the Green Dot program here at UP! The Wellness Center is hosting a Green Dot facilitator training here at UP on August 8–11. We hope to have individuals from as many departments as possible attend the training and be Green Dot facilitators so we can efficiently work together to implement the program across campus. The training will be for 50 people, and currently, there are 35 slots available. Check out a promo video with James Pena and Brenagh Sanford about Green Dot here.

The Care Team provides case management services to students needing additional assistance navigating their academic careers. If you notice students having difficulty with health, mental health, academics, or other concerns, do not hesitate to file a Care Team referral.
