One More ReadUP Book Discussion, Feb. 9

There is one more discussion group available for faculty and staff, led by Fr. Charlie Gordon C.S.C., to talk about this year’s ReadUP selection, The Moor’s Account, on Tuesday, February 9, at 3:30 p.m., in the Clark Library conference room. Light snacks provided. No RSVP required, just bring your copy of the book and look forward to some engaging conversation.

ReadUP’s “The Moor’s Account” Available in Clark Library

ReadUP150This year’s ReadUP book, The Moor’s Account by Laila Lalami, is still available for free in the Clark Library. ReadUP discussion groups facilitated by Fr. Charlie Gordon, C.S.C., and Brian Doyle will be open to all faculty and staff:

  • Wednesday, February 3, noon
  • Thursday, February 4, 12:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, February 9, 3:30 p.m.

All book discussions will be held in the Clark Library conference room, no. 222. The program will conclude with a lecture by the author on Monday, February 15. A website for ReadUP is available at this link.

Aziz Inan, Shiley School of Engineering, was in high demand last week thanks to the 22 palindrome dates which occur this year, including Inauguration Day (1-20-21).
