The University has selected Xerox as its new vendor for copiers across the University campus. Departments will be provided with the same type of equipment and functionality that the prior machines provided. These new copiers will be rolled out on campus in phases so that Information Services can set-up training sessions with faculty and staff as these new machines are being installed. Papercut will continue to be used with the new machines.
The installation of copiers by Xerox will start Wednesday, January 27 and will continue through Friday, February 5. Help Desk staff will be contacting each department to provide specific installation dates and what to expect with this change. Once the new copiers are installed, the old copiers will be picked up by a delivery service. Printing and mailing services will also be receiving new equipment. Due to the complexity of installation, please be advised that printing and mailing services anticipates being unable to process any copy jobs starting Tuesday, February 2 at noon until the morning of Friday, February 5.
