Providing global learning experiences for students in the UP community has taken many forms since the development of the strategic plan, according to Kimberly Ilosvay, education. Under the umbrella of CISGO, all of the professional schools and the College of Arts and Sciences are developing experiential international learning opportunities in partnership with Global ADE, a non-profit organization founded in Portland by Kenny King ’12, ’17, and Kurt Berning when they were Entrepreneur Scholars at UP. Global ADE’s mission is “to strengthen and support education in developing countries by funding programs driven by local community leaders.” If you want to know more, visit their website at this link or consider attending this year’s Global ADE fundraising dinner at UP on Saturday, March 24. The dinner is really fun and also a great way to learn more about this amazing organization.
