Columbia Sportswear Employee Store Invitations: Shop and Support Outdoor Pursuits

Take advantage of two options to shop at the Columbia Sportwear Employee store. Our Faculty and Staff invitation is valid February 23-March 17, 2024. You are also invited to shop from March 1-31 with a special partner invitation where 10% of your purchase will be donated back to the Outdoor Pursuits Program! 

Columbia Employee Store Invitation Details:

The store is stocked with current season products from our family of brands—Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, SOREL and prAna—items are marked 40–60% below retail prices.

For store access, please provide your digital invite (printed or shown on your mobile device) + proof of affiliation.

Invitees can bring up to four additional guests with each visit.

UP Faculty and Staff Invited to Columbia Employee Store, Aug. 18 to Sept. 10

All University of Portland faculty and staff are invited to shop at the Columbia Sportswear Employee Store from August 18 to September 10, according to Rev. Gerry Olinger, C.S.C., university relations. Each employee can bring four guests with them to shop and use the invitation multiple times during that date range. There is also is an end-of-season sale happening at the Employee Store from August 18-August 20.

WHAT’S THERE AND WHAT ARE MY SAVINGS?

  • Items in the store are at employee pricing. Tags are marked with prices. Discounts can vary.
  • Includes all brands in the Columbia Sportswear family of brands: Columbia Sportswear, SOREL, Mountain Hardwear, and prAna.
  • 50,000 sq. feet of each brand’s newest and most popular styles.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  • Bring the invitation with you to the store reception desk, or show to the receptionist on your mobile phone.
  • Show your work/organization ID (options listed on invite).
  • This invitation is non-transferable but you can bring your family and friends with you (up to 4 guests per person, per visit).
  • You are welcome to visit multiple times during the invitation period.

Gerry Olinger, C.S.C., vice president for University relations. This invitation offers UP employees the same pricing as Columbia Sportswear employees; all products are up to 50% off suggested retail price, including all brands in the Columbia Sportswear family of brands, in fully stocked size runs with new spring season products.

To participate, bring the invite letter sent to all faculty and staff in an earlier e-mail with you to the store reception desk, or show the invite letter to the receptionist on a mobile device. Bring photo ID along with work ID (badge, business card, or pay stub are acceptable forms). This invite is non-transferable but you are welcome to bring your family and friends with you (up to 4 guests per person). Columbia Sportswear Gift to UP Faculty, Staff

Columbia Sportswear has generously provided University faculty and staff access to their employee store from October 1 through November 1, according to Laurie Kelley, vice president for university relations. An e-mail with a printable ticket attached was recently sent to all UP faculty and staff; simply print out the pass and present it at the employee store along with UP ID.

Employee store pricing averages 50 percent off manufacturer suggested retail price and includes all brands in the Columbia Sportswear family of brands, with fully stocked size runs and new fall season products. The invitation is non-transferable but employees are welcome to bring up to five family or friends to shop.
