Volleyball continues West Coast Conference action at home this week as the Pilots host Brigham Young and San Diego. The games kick off on Thursday night when BYU comes to the Chiles Center to play the Pilots at 7 p.m. The game is also Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Night with free admission for all CYO kids and their families. Make plans to join the women’s soccer team as they return home, after a 4-game road trip, to open West Coast Conference play versus rival Gonzaga. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Saturday. All fans are encouraged to invite friends to the game and help the Pilots maintain the NCAA attendance record for the ninth consecutive season. Merlo Madness is coming. Help the Pilots set an all-time record attendance at Merlo Field when the Pilots take on BYU on Saturday, October 26th at 7:00 p.m. All faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the game and help the University of Portland pack the stadium to help do their part in being part of Merlo Madness and history. There will also be a push to get 2,000 students to the game, with a contingent plan to expand the student section to accommodate for overflow.
