New to The Bluff—Denise Ramsden, Assistant Director of the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education, School of Education

The School of Education is pleased to introduce the new Assistant Director of the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education, Denise Ramsden! Denise has worked in Catholic education since 2004 in an array of instructional and mentoring roles throughout that time. She has been a University Supervisor in the U.P. School of Ed. since 2021. New to the Bluff—Dhara Brown, Executive Assistant to the Vice President, Marketing & Communications

The Division of Marketing and Communications recently welcomed Dhara Brown to the role of Executive Assistant to the Vice President at the end of March. Dhara graduated from American University in Washington, DC, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language (French Language & Cultural Studies) and Communications Media (Film & Media Arts).

A New Imagination on Migration with Fr. Daniel Groody C.S.C. (Jun. 12)

Campus Ministry, in association with Catholic Charities, will host Fr. Daniel Groody who will discuss the subject of migration along with his most recent book, “A Theology of Migration: The Bodies of Refugees and the Body of Christ.” Rev. Groody’s insightful perspective on the narrative of migrants and human rights is grounded in decades of world travel and ministry, along with his service on the U.S. Catholic bishops’ committee on migration.
