Semi-Monthly Timesheets Due Monday, March 14
The current semi-monthly timesheet submission deadline is Monday, March 14, at 3 p.m. Supervisors will have until 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15 to approve hours.

Rhodes and Marshall Scholarship Candidates Wanted
Faculty members are encouraged to send the names of academically and experientially exceptional, ambitious rising seniors who would benefit from attending graduate school at Cambridge, Oxford, or one of the other premier UK institutions to the Office of Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement, according to John Orr, assistant to the provost.
Students applying for these awards must have a University endorsement and formally express their intent to apply by early April. Students will be contacted and given assistance in starting the application process, will participate in campus interviews in late April, and will continue to receive support over the summer so their files can be finalized at the start of the fall semester.

Compensation Packages Ready for Employees
A summary of each employee’s compensation package is now available in Banner Self-Serve, according to Nicole Bresnahan, human resources. This personalized total compensation statement identifies direct and indirect compensation, and is intended to give a summary of the value of the benefits employees receive.
The Total Comp Statement can be found by going to Employee> Pay Information>Total Compensation Statement. Please note that this is not a tax document. The payroll office has prepared 2015 W-2s and can answer any questions at payroll@up.edu.

Last Lunch & Learn for Spring 2016
The next and last Lunch and Learn session for spring 2016 will take place on Tuesday, March 15 at noon in the Library conference room, no. 222. Lisa Mitchell, from Cascade Centers, will present “Caring for Elderly Parents.” She will focus on understanding the needs of, and caring for, elderly parents. Coping with the demands of being a caregiver, the stresses of long-term illnesses, providing a dignified environment, and the use of community resources will be covered. Please join in and bring your colleagues.

Last Call to Nominate Seniors for Leadership Reception
The Office of Alumni Relations is hosting its second annual Senior Leadership Soiree on April 19 to honor senior student leaders across campus. Faculty and staff who have worked with a student who has gone above and beyond in an on-campus leadership role are asked to submit this (very short!) form.

Student Late Stay Request Forms Due April 8
If your department will be sponsoring students to remain on campus after the standard move-out dates (April 29 for most students, May 2 for graduating seniors), the residence life office will need a Department Late Stay Request form. If your department did not receive a copy of the template for making this request (sent March 8), please contact the Office of Residence Life at reslife@up.edu or x7205.
Requests are due by Friday, April 8 to Jessica Wode at wodej@up.edu. Departments will be charged $42 per person per night unless they specify that the students’ accounts should be charged. Students who do not need to stay for any department but wish to request a late stay for themselves should submit a Petition Form to Modify Housing Contract to the Office of Residence Life.
Fitness Classes In The Beauchamp Center: Sign Up Online!
Recreational services has launched online registrations for all fitness classes, according to Liz Winters, recreational services. Employees can go to recservices.up.edu, login with their UP credentials, click on the program registration link at the top of the page, and sign up for the fitness class of their choice.
While employees are encouraged to sign up for any fitness class offerings, recreational services offers lunchtime classes Monday through Friday specifically for employees, including Zumba, Oula, Cardio Express and Cardio Hula Hoop. The full list of fitness classes can be found at this link.

Music At Midweek
The next Music at Midweek performance will feature baritone Allen Saunders of Northern Arizona University and pianist Jeffrey Peterson of Baylor University performing music by American composers on Wednesday, March 16, at 12:30 p.m., in Hunt Center Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to all.
