The Teacher Leadership Network and the School of Education will present “An Evening With Dr. Tom Greene” on Wednesday May 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Terrace Room. All are invited to engage in a thought-provoking and inspiring evening with University provost Tom Greene, who rose through the ranks as a beloved and well-respected professor in the School of Education.
Greene has served the University not only as provost but as dean of the Graduate School, interim dean of the School of Education, associate dean of the School of Education, and director of teacher education. He joined the UP faculty in 1983, and won the 2010 Culligan Award, the University’s highest faculty honor. He also serves on the boards of several Portland-area educational organizations and has worked in the community as assistant superintendent of both Beaverton and Gresham-Barlow School Districts and in several other administrative and faculty positions throughout Oregon.
