Make plans to join the Pilots women’s soccer team as they return home this week for two games at Merlo Field. The action starts on Friday night as the Pilots take on UC Irvine at 7 p.m. As part of the game there will be a 9/11 pre-game tribute and moment of silence for first responders and a color guard presented by the Army and Air Force ROTC detachments. The second game of the weekend takes place on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. as the Pilots take on CSUN (California State University, Northridge). The Pilots women’s volleyball team is set to host three teams this weekend when the North Harbour Marriott Invitational volleyball tournament comes to the Chiles Center. The tournament will feature a total of six games in two days as each team will play each other once. The Pilots games are scheduled for Friday afternoon at 4 p.m., Saturday morning at 10 a.m., and Saturday night at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Pilots box office inside the Chiles Center or over the phone by calling 7525.
