Former Portland standout distance runner David Kinsella will be inducted into the West Coast Conference Hall of Honor as part of its 2020 class, the WCC announced on February 19. The 12th annual Hall of Honor class will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7 at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
Kinsella was a three-time All-American, three-time Academic All-American, claimed two top-10 individual finishes at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, and earned a West Coast Conference Postgraduate Scholarship. A stand-out in the classroom, Kinsella graduated with a 3.96 GPA. He earned a degree in biology with minors in both economics and philosophy, and had just three A-minuses during his five years on The Bluff. Following his time at UP, Kinsella earned a JD in Law from Stanford in 2012.
