Tom Hoban Lecture, Feb. 23

Tom Hoban - head shot 2013Tom Hoban, CEO and founder of Coast Real Estate Services, will speak as part of the University of Portland’s Bauccio Lecture Series at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, February 23, in Buckley Center Auditorium. The lecture, sponsored by the Franz Center for Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, is free and open to faculty, staff, students, and the public.

Hoban co-founded Coast Real Estate Services with his brother Shawn Hoban. The company has won numerous awards, including the Washington State Family Business of the Year award. In 2003, the brothers were recognized by the Notre Dame Alumni Club as co-alumni of the year.

Upcoming Bauccio Lecture Series guests include:

  • Kent Lewis, president and CEO of Anvil Media, on Monday, March 2, at 7:10 p.m., in Buckley Center Auditorium.
  • Wendy Collie, president and CEO of New Seasons Market, will speak on Monday, March 16, at 7:10 p.m., in Buckley Center Auditorium.
  • Peggy Maguire, who leads strategic planning, corporate performance, and enterprise risk management programs for Cambria Health Solutions, will speak on Monday, March 30, at 7:10 p.m., in Buckley Center Auditorium.

Natalie Nelson-Marsh, communication studies, participated as a panelist at the BizWomen Coalition Thought Leader Forum on January 26.
