The Women’s Leadership Forum Presents: A Conversation on the movie “Barbie” (Nov. 1)

October 23, 2023

Moviegoers showed up en masse (and in pink) this summer to see Barbie, which has since been met with both praise and critique. The Women’s Leadership Forum is excited to host a panel discussion to dive into the movie’s narrative and impact along with its larger cultural and personal implications.

The conversation will be led by our esteemed panel Brandy Daniels, PhD, Assistant Professor, Theology and Co-Director of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies; Maye Lan Henning, PhD, Assistant Professor, Political Science; September Nelson, PhD, Assistant Professor, School of Nursing and Health Innovations; and Brooke Welter ’24, Co-President, SASA.

ALL ARE WELCOME!

Join us on Wednesday, November 1, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Brian Doyle Auditorium (DB Hall).
