Brian Eyler, the Energy, Water, Sustainability Program director for Southeast Asia at The Stimson Center in Washington, DC, will be speaking about his new book, The Last Days of the Mighty Mekong, on Thursday, October 24, at 1 p.m., in Franz Hall room 120. His talk will touch on environmental issues, ethnicity, and the history of China and Southeast Asia surrounding the river.
