Single Sign On Goes Mobile with AppID Mobile App

AppIDMobile Information services has announced the release of AppID Mobile, bringing UP Single Sign On to mobile devices. Intermedia’s AppID serves as the University of Portland’s Single Sign On (SSO) solution. It enables users to login once rather than separately for each of their UP account enabled web apps. AppID also provides a convenient online portal for one-click access to apps. For iOS and Android devices Intermedia now offers a free mobile app called ‘AppID’. To get started simply download ‘AppID’ from your app store. Sign in using your UP e-mail and password.

A New Look for ‘GO’ Single Sign On

Starting Wednesday, September 16, users will notice a new look for the Single Sign On website at go.up.edu. The sign-on page as well as the application portal will have a much improved look and feel. Single Sign On Available Now For The Library

Tired of signing in over and over for the library’s various online services? Then we have good news for you in the New Year. All of the library’s services requiring a UP network account have been added to the University’s single sign-on solution: Go! This is already in place for other frequently used University applications, such as PilotsUP, Moodle, and Outlook Webmail.

Now Go! includes course reserves, UP ILLiad, off campus access to databases, access to eBooks, Pilot Scholars, and your library account. When you are signed in through http://go.up.edu, it automatically populates the login information and passes you through to these services within a few seconds. It’s easy to activate on all devices.
