The first meeting of the Faith and Intellectual Life Discussion Group for the 2016-17 academic year will be on Friday, September 16, 3:30-5 p.m., in the Murphy Room on the 4th floor of Franz Hall. The group will discuss Johns Hopkins political science professor Jane Bennett’s “The Wonder of Minor Experiences” from her book The Enchantment of Modern Life: Attachments, Crossings and Ethics. The reading can be downloaded from the Garaventa Center website at this link. Refreshments will be served. All faculty and staff are welcome.
