AICPA Accounting Competition

UP Accounting Team In AICPA Semi-Finals: Please Vote!

November 6, 2015

biz teamJunior business students Isaac Mansuetti, Lance Chee, and Connor Ward have qualified for the semi-finals of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) accounting competition. Ten percent of the score to reach the finals is based upon a vote which is open to the public, and the top three teams advance to the finals held in North Carolina, where they vie for $10,000 in prize money. The University’s 2013 accounting team won the national AICPA competition in 2013.

University community members are asked to help the UP team (Northwest Accountants) by voting for them at http://tinyurl.com/qdjotph from November 5 to 11. Voters will receive a confirming e-mail; once they click on that e-mail their vote will be registered. (Check your spam folder in case you don’t receive the confirming email.) Their winning video can be seen at https://competition.thiswaytocpa.com.

For more information contact Taireez Niswander, business, at 8801 or niswande@up.edu.
