
Staff Development Week is designed to inspire learning, personal growth, and practical skill-building beyond the workplace. Through engaging sessions on a variety of topics, employees can explore new interests, gain useful life skills, and enhance their overall well-being.
- March 3 – Intro to Artificial Intelligence – Curious about artificial intelligence but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly presentation demystifies AI, covering what it is, how it works, and where you encounter it in daily life.

- March 4 – Smartphone Photography 101 – Learn how to capture, edit, and share great photographs using a mobile device.
- Time: 2-3 p.m.
- Location: Digital Lab – Shiley Marcos 301
- March 5 – How to Change a Tire/Car Maintenance – Learn essential car maintenance skills, including how to safely change a tire, check fluids, and perform routine upkeep to keep your vehicle running smoothly.
- Time: 2-3 p.m.
- Location: Facilities Services River Campus – Shuttles between upper and lower campus will be available to transport participants to and from the event.
- March 6 – Building Better Sleep Habits – Discover how to improve sleep quality by creating an ideal sleep environment, understanding common sleep disruptors like caffeine and screen time, and addressing factors that contribute to poor rest.
