The 2015 Pilots soccer season is right around the corner. Have you purchased your season tickets yet? Just as a reminder, all faculty and staff can purchase season tickets for 50 percent off. The season starts this Saturday, August 15 when the Pilots women’s soccer team takes on Oregon in an exhibition game at Merlo Field. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will feature the season ticket holder gift giveaway.
The Pilots men’s soccer season starts a week later on Saturday, August 22, when the Pilots take on Seattle in an exhibition game at Merlo Field.
Other big games for the Pilots women’s soccer team include Oregon State on Friday, August 21, Washington State on September 20, BYU on October 3 (this game will also be our Oktoberfest celebration), and Santa Clara on October 18. The Santa Clara game will be a huge game that no one will want to miss as we invite out the 2005 National Championship team to be honored at the game for their 10-year anniversary; this team included Pilot greats by like Stephanie (Lopez) Cox, Megan Rapinoe, Lisa (Sari) Chambers, Angie (Woznuk) Kerr, and Christine Sinclair.
On the men’s side, big home games feature the Bite on the Bluff promotion during Freshman Orientation Weekend as the Pilots take on Michigan State on Friday, August 28, a match-up with Oregon State on September 17, and Santa Clara on October 30.
