The University has hired Joe Kaleel as the new director of university events. With Bill Reed’s retirement at the end of June, Kaleel will start work on June 4 to allow for about a month of he and Bill working together.Kaleel spent 10 years at ETZEL Agency in various capacities, including chief experience officer, account director, and director of operations and broadcast. Prior to this, he served as the owner and producer of Kaleel Productions, working with clients including Nike, US Bank, and the Portland Rose Festival, and also as a producer for KGW.
As we celebrate the addition of Joe to our team, we will also be celebrating the many incredible years of service that Bill Reed has given to the University. Please ensure your calendars are marked for Bill’s retirement celebration on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 26.
