The Committee on Teaching and Scholarship is soliciting proposals from faculty and staff to host workshops, roundtables, and presentations during Faculty Development Day, to be held on Tuesday, May 6, according to Lauretta Frederking, committee chair. The theme of Faculty Development Day will be “From PHL 220 to Graduation: Infusing Ethics throughout the Curriculum.” The committee will host Jim Baillie as keynote speaker and many breakout sessions will reinforce what is taught in PHL 220 in classes across all disciplines. Proposals related in some way to the theme of ethics, but also the promotion of teaching or professional development are encouraged.
