The Athletic Department would like to acknowledge this year’s winners of the “Difference Award”!
Each year, student-athletes nominate a professor on campus who they feel has made a difference in their life. The definition is left intentionally vague, allowing students to reflect on the many ways a professor may have made a difference to them.
This year, two professors were selected as our winners! They are:
- Beth DuFault – Business
- Courtney Ngai – CAS-Chemistry
Athletics also takes this opportunity to recognize Lisa Reed, Associate Dean of School of Business, for 29 years of service and being an enduring difference maker for the Athletic Department. She has been a steadfast collaborator that has lead to an all-time high number of student-athletes majoring in business disciplines over the last 3 years.
These three will be honored at the Men’s basketball game on Wednesday, February 18, at 7:00 p.m. at the Chiles Center. Please come out and enjoy the game and congratulate our winners for their support of all of our students on campus, including our student-athletes.
