The Committee on Committees would like to hear from all faculty regarding their interest and preferences for committee assignments for the 2023–2024 academic year. It is important that everyone completes this short survey to let the Committee know their service history, service interests for next year, as well as availability across a variety of service opportunities. (Faculty who do not complete the survey are assumed to be available for assignment in any role on any committee in 2023–2024.)
The faculty survey is being distributed earlier than in past years so that the Committee on Committees can meet in February 2023 and faculty can be notified of their service appointments before the end of the semester (likely before spring break). We hope this makes planning for 2023–2024 easier on everyone.
Speaking of easier, the faculty survey has undergone a massive revision/update to make it shorter, faster to complete, and easier to navigate. We think it streamlines the whole process and we hope you agree.
