Br. Pablo Quan, CSC recently joined the Moreau Center as our new Program Manager for Service and Justice. Br. Pablo is a religious brother and a member of the Congregation of Holy Cross. He was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Br. Pablo is a graduate from the University of Notre Dame where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the same university.
Before starting his role at the Moreau Center, Br. Pablo was Hall Director of Christie Hall here at the University of Portland. During his time in formation to become a religious brother in South Bend, Indiana, Br. Pablo also had the opportunity to get involved in a variety of ministries. He was a catechist for faith formation of Hispanic immigrants, volunteered at the Catholic Worker, and was involved with ministry to people with severe mental illness. Br. Pablo also enjoys working outdoors and hopes to continue learning about landscaping and groundskeeping. He likes coffee, chocolate, watching basketball, going on walks, and listening to music.
