Murphy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Central Michigan University, where she teaches classes on the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament and … zombies. She co-edited a recently released textbook entitled Apocalypses in Context: Apocalyptic Currents Through History, and is the author of a forthcoming work on masculinity and the book of Judges. Her work on “The End” has been featured in The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, and Religion Dispatches.
