Ami Ahern-Rindell, biology, and research students Raluca Gosman and Kai Seeley, co-authored an abstract and oral presentation that was accepted at the American Association for the Advancement of Science Pacific Meetings held in Hawaii in mid June. Raluca attended the conference and gave the presentation entitled “Y-STR Analysis of Modern DNA in Preparation for Evaluation of Ancient Human Remains from Mallorca, Spain.”

She also presented “Implementation of online education to advance competencies in palliative and end-of-life care” (with Mallie Kozy, nursing, Davis, A., & Lippe, M.) and “Innovative community collaborations to advance culturally-sensitive palliative and end-of-life care” (with Mazanec, P., Dahlstrom, M., & Sam Williams, information services) at the same conference.
