Jessica Murphy Moo, Marketing & Communications, was featured in a documentary “An American Dream: Behind the Curtain,” about the “making of” the opera An American Dream. The documentary was produced by Opera Santa Barbara and created by Nina Yoshida Nelson (creative director) and Zach Mendez (filmmaker). Jessica wrote the libretto and Jack Perla composed the music. An American Dream will be produced at Hawai‘i Opera Theatre in October 2023.

Maureen Briare, Nursing & Health Innovations, and Karen Eifler, Garaventa Center, were featured in an article of the most recent edition of Sharing the Word, the epistle of The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Program. The piece detailed their conversations and process that resulted in Briare’s composition “To the Ends of the Earth,” just published by GIA. The hymn was catalyzed by the illumination of the same name in UP’s treasured Saint John’s Bible and debuted at a UP commencement.
