An interdisciplinary team of faculty—Valerie Peterson (PI), Eric Anctil (co-PI), Carolyn James (senior personnel), Tara Prestholdt (co-PI), and Stephanie Salomone (co-PI)—has submitted a collaborative grant with Heather Dillon (PI) of UW-Tacoma to the National Science Foundation. A continuation of the team’s work on the REFLECT grant, the goal of this project is to expand the use of evidence-based, active pedagogies in STEM and support the uptake of new teaching practices using innovative protocols for peer observation. The work seeks to involve STEM faculty from across the country, including teams from UP and UWT. The total request is for $1,999,957 over five years.
