Lauren Berger, psychological sciences, and Olivia Nomura (PSY; class of ‘22) presented research on racial identity, critical consciousness, political efficacy, and participation in national social movements at the 130th Annual American Psychological Association Convention, August 4–6, 2022 (Minneapolis, MN). Three additional undergraduate students – Grace Fortson (POL; class of ‘22), Jordan Hammock (PSY; class of ‘21), and Alyssa Reed (PSY; class of ‘21) – contributed to the research project. Berger received a 2022 APA Committee on Early Career Psychologists/National Register of Health Service Psychologists Convention Travel Grant to attend the conference.
