Natalie Nelson-Marsh, communication studies, has been invited to speak at the National Association of Regulatory Attorneys (NCRA) on May 10. She has been asked to present the research findings from her National Science Foundation (NSF) grant entitled “Planning for Renewables: Regional Transmission Organizations Managing Tensions and Networking Innovation.” She will present the qualitative research results focusing upon how communication processes influenced the development of governance structures in a newly emerging regionalized organizational body responsible for the future of energy transmission in the western region of the United States.
