Jacqueline Van Hoomissen, biology, participated as an administrative co-facilitator for the Council of Colleges of Arts and Sciences’ September professional development workshop Seminar for Department Chairs. This workshop is a multi-day learning opportunity for department chairs from across the nation to come together and delve deeply into what it means to be an academic leader in a department chair role.
