Matthew Minicucci, English, is a finalist for the Stafford/Hall Award for Poetry as part of the annual Oregon Book Awards. He was nominated for his poetry collection, Small Gods (New Issues Poetry & Prose).

Patrick Murphy, performing and fine arts, was guest conductor of the Oregon Music Education Association District 13 Honor Band at Oregon City High School on January 19-20. The band included 80 student musicians from Canby, Colton, Estacada, Gladstone, Milwaukie, Molalla, Oregon City, and Rex Putnam High Schools.
Larry Larsen, performing and fine arts, designed the scenery for Broadway Rose Theatre Company’s production of “NUNSENSE,” which opened on January 25 and runs through February 24 at their New Theater in Tigard.
