Poulami Mitra, Biology, hosted Saturday Academy’s “Caretaking Creators” camp in Swindells Hall, from July 28-Aug 1, 2025. Students spent the week immersed in lab-based learning as they explored topics in biology, anatomy, and physiology through hands-on activities and exciting projects such as labeling skeleton, skull, and heart models. Students also had an opportunity to dissect owl pellets with Stephanie Salomone and creating tumor extraction models and budget-restricted stethoscopes with OHSU’s Katherine Mijal.
