We are pleased to announce that Ed Langlois ‘16 has accepted our offer to become the next Assistant Director for Student Media, working closely with our student journalists at the Beacon. Ed has had a distinguished career in journalism, most recently serving at the Catholic Sentinel for nearly 30 years. Stacey brings a wealth of experience from on The Bluff to her new position, having previously worked in the School of Education and most recently coordinating the assessment and accreditation efforts of the School of Nursing & Health Innovations. She also has a terrific perspective on the regional higher ed landscape from her time working with the Oregon Alliance of Independent Colleges and Universities. Congratulations Stacey!

María Echenique presented “A Precursor of ‘Feminism from the Zulos’ by Dahlia de la Cerda” and served as presiding officer and chair of the session Spain, Portugal, and Latin America: Jewish Culture and Literature in Trans-Iberia. Matthew Warshawsky presented “A ‘Tenth Muse’ in 1600s Sephardic Amsterdam: Isabel Rebeca Correa, Translator, Poet, and Feminist” and served as presiding officer and chair of the Jewish Literature and Culture session.
