The University Orchestra will present an evening of soloists on Tuesday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m., in Buckley Center Auditorium. The concert is free and open to all.
The concert will feature UP’s violin professor, Kevin Lefohn, playing Vaughan Williams’ gorgeous “The Lark Ascending.” Student concerto competition winners Taylor Kendig (soprano) and Jonathan Liao (piano) will also be featured, singing arias by Strauss and Verdi, and playing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24. The concert will also include George Lloyd’s 6th Symphony and William Walton’s “Crown Imperial March.”
