All UP French studies majors who applied for English teaching assistantships (ETAs) sponsored by the French government to teach English in France next academic year have been accepted, according to Trudie Booth, international languages and cultures. The students are Daniel Lunchick-Seymour, Makena Collin, Sarah Wong, and Nicole Fleury. The assistantships are sponsored by the French Ministry of Education and the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and give eligible French majors the opportunity to teach English to French students of all ages.
