Together with the provost and SOPHIA, the Garaventa Center is thrilled to announce a pilgrimage to the birthplace of the Congregation of Holy Cross in the early summer of 2018 (June 23-July 3). Grants of $2,000 are available to senior faculty members and cover all lodging and meals at the Sanctuary of Monetligeon (Base Normandy region), coach transport to all sites and to and from DeGaulle airport, and admission to attractions that are part of the pilgrimage. Participants will be responsible for their airfare and any incidentals. There are 12 seats available for this initial venture, and interested faculty will be asked to consider how they envision the experience feeding their vocation as teacher and scholar in a brief application letter. There will be a brown bag information session in the Garaventa Center on Wednesday, March 8, from noon-1.
