The University of Portland music program presents “Lament and Reformation,” at 7:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 2, in Buckley Center Auditorium. The concert will showcase the University of Portland Orchestra, and is free and open to the public. The program will feature faculty cello soloist Dieter Ratzlaf in Faure’s moving Elegie, Bach’s brilliant D Major Orchestral Suite (with the famous Air), and Mendelssohn’s grand Symphony #5 in D, “Reformation.”
