The Committee on Teaching and Scholarship is pleased to announce that the Fall 2023 cycle for Butine Faculty Development grants is now open. Full-time faculty, instructors, lecturers, and librarians (at assistant, associate, and senior ranks) are eligible to apply. All applicants must have an appointment for next year to be eligible.
Submit your completed Butine application to Teaching and Scholarship via Moodle and to your department chair and/or Dean by Friday, October 13.
If you plan to apply for a Fall 2023 Butine Grant, please take note of the following deadlines and workshop information below.

The purpose of the workshop is to offer tips and insights on ‘best practices’ for Butine grant submissions. We also will answer your questions. Faculty new to the application process are encouraged to attend.
Please note that for those CAS faculty who received Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 Butine Awards, interim or completed reports are due to Teaching and Scholarship via Moodle by Monday, October 2, 2023.
