Contrasts features the art of Isabelle Soule and Anne Santiago, who bonded over their shared experience working in Rwanda— Anne in conflict management and Isabelle in community health. The show highlights artworks in pottery and weaving, with both mediums representing important art forms as well as practical objects for existence across the African continent. A shared appreciation for the people and the art of East Africa led to their desire to share their own art in the BC Gallery.
