The Committee on Teaching and Scholarship (TAS) has released its Spring 2015 calendar of deadlines, according to committee chair Lauretta Frederking, political science.
Butine Awards:
- Butine call sent out: January 12
- Deadline for faculty to submit applications to department chairs, dean, and chair of Committee on Teaching and Scholarship: Feb. 6, no later than noon
- Deadline for CAS chairs and deans to submit letters, forms to Chair of TAS Committee: Feb. 13, no later than 3 p.m.
- Notification of award recipients to provost: Mar. 20
- Letters sent to Butine applicants: Mar. 23
- Award list sent for publication in upbeat: Mar. 23
Faculty Teaching and Scholarship Awards:
- Call for Nominations: Jan. 12
- Deadline for nominations to Chair of TAS Committee:Jan. 30
- Nominees notified of opportunity to submit applications: Feb. 6
- Deadline for nominees to submit materials to chair of TAS Committee: Mar. 20, no later than noon
- Notify Provost of award recipients: Apr. 17
Faculty End-of-Year Development Day:
- Deadline for Development Day proposals: Jan. 30
- Call for faculty development panels: Mar. 27
- Deadline for Faculty Development proposals: Apr. 17.
