You are invited to a Sigma Xi public lecture on Monday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Brian Doyle Auditorium (Dundon -Brerchtold Hall 004). Our featured speaker will be Peter Graven, PhD, a health economist who works in advanced analytics and data science at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health. Graven’s work is focused on building and deploying predictive and forecasting models as well as conducting advanced analytics to support quality improvement and mission control operations at the OHSU hospital and system. He will discuss how changes in human behavior can affect the spread of disease during a pandemic.
