In 1951, ASUP vice president Bob Herndon (pictured in the featured image), accompanied by UP students, participated a city-wide collegiate anti-discrimination project to promote commercial and business access to all our neighbors without reference to or hindrance based on race, creed, or accented speech. This project, known as the Fair Rose Campaign, is the subject of our most recent article on PortLog.
