PilotsGive—the most important giving day of the year for UP students and programs—is coming up on March 22–23. Join us for our social media and communication training on Wednesday, March 8, from 1–2 p.m. in Library Classroom 211. You’ll get lots of tips on talking about PilotsGive and learn how to generate more gifts for your center, program, or club. Make an even bigger impact by being a PilotsGive Ambassador. See how easy it is to help here.
PilotsGive Ambassadors amplify our fundraising success simply by sharing why they love UP and promoting the areas of campus they are most passionate about. We’ll give you all the tools you need and maybe even a prize or two.
Why be an Ambassador?
- It’s fun! You can compete with coworkers to win great prizes!
- It’s easy! We will give you all the tools you need, including social media graphics and scripts to use or take inspiration from. Plus, we’ll send you tips and reminders about special PilotsGive promotions like matching gifts. If you have questions along the way, we are here to help!
- It’s impactful! Sharing why you love UP helps inspire others to give. This ripple effect increases the funding we have for scholarships, programs, and more—it even helps recruit future students. You are making the Pilot community stronger!
There are many ways to be an Ambassador. Choose what works for you.
- Share on social media. Tell friends what you love about UP. If you give, include why! Link to up.edu/pilotsgive and encourage others to join you! See the Ambassador toolkit for tips.
- Email, text, or call your friends: Gifts of all sizes make a difference for the programs that are meaningful to you. Plus, your favorite school, center, team, or student activity has a chance to win bonus funds when they hit participation goals!
- Host an event: Want to go big? Meet up with friends in your UP network and celebrate being a Pilot! PilotsGive is a great reason for your chapter, affinity group (such as advisory boards or alumni from a particular club, team, or residence hall), or friends to catch up. Let us know about your event. We can help promote it!
